Summery:Oral cancers are one of the commonest cancers seen in India. Unfortunately, 85% of these patients present in advanced stage. Surgery remains the primary method of treatment in this situation. Surgery though the most important but alone is an inadequate treatment. Every locally advanced oral cancer needs to received adjuvant radiation post-surgery. The use of systemic therapy in locally advanced resectable oral cancers for improvement of outcomes seems an attractive option. NACT in resectable oral cancers has been tested inadequately. Hence there is a need for a properly conducted randomized study addressing the current issues. In this study, we will study the use of NACT considering different parameters which addresses the existing issues and will help us to understand if it improves he disease free survival in patients.
